My Journey to be a Certified DISC Practitioner

Have you ever been in a meeting and wished you had magic powers that would ensure that everyone involved would have a wonderful communication experience and that collaboration would be seamless?

I was lucky enough to be part of an organization that invited our executive team to take DISC, a culture-focused assessment. The experience enabled our team to communicate more effectively, which improved productivity, increased engagement and inspired us to want to ensure that everyone at our organization was invited to experience this. At the time, I was asked to facilitate DISC team sessions and to roll this out company wide. I was excited to lead this initiative; however, I wished that I had more experience and knowledge surrounding DISC.

I was extremely impressed with the results of the DISC sessions at this organization. This made me want to learn as much as I possibly could about DISC so that I could really make a difference for others. I am excited to announce that I personally invested in the training, and as of this week, I am a Certified DISC Practitioner. DISC assessments, training, and facilitation is now another culture-centric offering for my clients at CultureStream HR Solutions LLC.

I look forward to engaging with leaders about how DISC can bring clarity and a newfound understanding among otherwise contrasting behavioral styles. DISC is a proven tool that can optimize your communication environment for a more productive and profitable outcome.
